Our farm story is rooted in a simple belief: that good food starts with healthy soil, healthy animals, and thoughtful stewardship of the land. We’re continually learning, experimenting, and finding better ways to care for the farm while producing food we’re proud to share with our community. Thoughtful Stewardship
This is the foundation of the farm, our standards for animal and land care are extremely high. These responsibilities are truly a gift, and they come first in every decision we make.
Soil Health
We plant cover crops in our garden, rotate paddocks in our pastures, and NEVER apply chemicals to either one. Everything we practice revolves around this one goal - improve the health of the soil. That's because healthier soil leads to healthier food.
Connection
As farmers working to strengthen our local food system, we have the responsibility to bridge the gap between you and the food we produce. We push back against a disconnected system with each face-to-face conversation, handshake, and smile we share with you.
Human Scale Systems
Our farm is built on innovative, efficient, low input, human-powered systems and infrastructure that grounds us in our work and reduces our reliance on heavy machinery and fossil fuels.
Diversity
We believe in diversified farming with both plant and animal based enterprises that support each other and reduce dependency on outside inputs. For us, a diverse approach means less risk, well-rounded diets, more sustainability, and new adventures every day!
Quality
We pay close attention to detail, you will not find fresher vegetables or cleaner cuts of meat at the grocery store. Every bunch of carrots is carefully looked over, and there wont be a single pin feather left on your whole chicken. The quality of our products is unmatched.
Transparency
We've hosted classes, made YouTube videos on our processes, and consistently share the behind the scenes from our farm on social media. We're happy and excited to show you our farm as we continue to grow!
